| Michael Maryn graduated from the University of Toronto before going on to obtain his law degree at the University of British Columbia in 1985. He has practiced law since then and has represented clients in complex litigation matters including serious personal injury cases, insurance claims, medical malpractice, products liability, and real estate and commercial litigation. His practice now focuses on serious personal injury cases.
Michael is recognized by his colleagues as an outstanding litigation and trial lawyer, and is frequently asked to lecture to other lawyers and medical experts in his areas of specialty. 
Over the years, Michael has worked with highly qualified experts in the fields of medicine, engineering, life-care planning, economics, physical rehabilitation, and law. These experts help in the evaluation, management, and prosecution of the firm’s cases.

Yvonne Wong completed her undergraduate degree in 2002 at the University of British Columbia and went on to receive her law degree there in 2005. She articled with Maryn & Associates and became an associate after her call to the bar in August of 2006.
Yvonne has represented litigants in both the Provincial and Supreme Courts of British Columbia. She has been counsel in a number of trials in Supreme Court, including judge alone and judge with jury, most notably the ski-lift injury case referenced here: http://www.medicalevidence.ca/homemov.php.
Yvonne's main passion in law is pursuing justice for those who are injured, therefore her main practice at Maryn & Associates is plaintiff only. In her spare time, she volunteers with a youth group and spends time with her husband and their dog.
